Cuttack: A 27-year-old youth sustained severe injuries after falling off the Mahanadi overbridge in Odisha’s Cuttack in the early hours of Thursday.
The injured has been identified as Satish Rout of Chhatia.
According to reports, the accident took place at around 4 am when Satish was on his way to Chhatia on a motorcycle. He reportedly fell off the bridge after a speeding truck sideswiped his two-wheeler.
On being informed, Fire Service personnel from Chauliaganj reached the spot and rescued Rout. He was then admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack with a possible spine injury.
