Youth Robbed Of Rs 2 lakh In Balangir

Balangir: Unidentified miscreants looted Rs 2 lakh from a youth at College Square in Balangir district on Monday.

The victim has been identified as Lingaraj Pradhan.
Pradhan, who lodged a complaint regarding the loot at town police station, told that he was returning home after withdrawing money from a branch of Indian Overseas Bank when the incident took place.
According to locals, the victim had gone somewhere after parking his Scooty at College Square when two bike-borne miscreants broke open his vehicle’s dickey and decamped with the cash.
Police have launched a manhunt to nab the culprits.
