Youth Slips While Posing For Picture At Waterfall In Koraput

Jeypore: A youth suffered grievous injuries after he slipped 50 feet down Rati Bali Waterfall while posing for a photograph at Gali Gabada under Potangi block of Koraput district on Wednesday evening.
The victim identified as Subrat Nag, an employee of Meena Bazaar shopping arcade, was rescued and rushed to Potangi Community Health Centre by fellow picnickers. He was later shifted to the district headquarters hospital after his condition deteriorated. He had sustained serious head injuries.
However, his condition is stated to be stable.
According to sources, Subrat asked one of his friends to click his photograph atop the waterfall and moved towards the edge. He suddenly stepped on a bedrock and slipped.
The entire incident was captured in camera.
