Bhubaneswar: Police have detained a youth for allegedly stoning a person to death on a busy street of the capital city on Saturday evening.
According to eyewitnesses, there was a roadside altercation between two men near the Sishu Bhawan Chhak-Rajmahal Square here.
The body of the youth lay near a large cement brickplace, and there was blood all around.
Police said the identity of the deceased is yet to be established.
The corpse has been taken to Capital Hospital for post-mortem.
