Nayagarh: The body of a youth was recovered from the railway tracks in Daspalla area of Odisha’s Nayagarh district on Monday.
According to sources, the dismembered body was found near Madhupur between Daspalla and Dihagan. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, Government Railway Police (GRP) said.
Locals said it was likely that the deceased belonged to Kutibari area of Nuagaon. He might have been hit by a train heading to Bhubaneswar from Daspalla on today morning.
On being informed, GRP personnel retrieved the remains and sent it for autopsy. A case has been registered in this connection.
