Balasore: Mutilated body of a youth was recovered from Dantia in Balasore district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Satyajit Maharana, a resident of Pithapania village under Nandor block in the district.
A team of Khaira police led by inspector-in-charge Lopamudra Nayak rushed to the spot after receiving information regarding the incident and seized the body for postmortem.
According to police sources, Maharana was working as a carpenter at Udala in Mayurbhanj district. It is suspected that he was attacked by some miscreants over past enmity.
