Bhubaneswar: The YouTube channel of Odisha Assembly is operational and the Vidhan Sabha TV and a monthly magazine – ‘Bidhan Sabha Patrika’ will be launched soon, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro informed on Sunday.
All proceedings of the Assembly will be broadcast on the Youtube channel, which was launched on March 5, he said.
Patro further said that the Budget Session of the Odisha Assembly for 2022-23 will commence before March 31. The date will be officially announced after approval from the Governor.
Speaking about setting up the Legislative Council (Vidhan Parisha) in Odisha, the Speaker said that the state Assembly recently received correspondence from the Centre, elaborating on the official procedures. “The letter from the Union Government has been forwarded to the Parliamentary Affairs Department,” he added.
