Zareen Khan Adds ‘Bollywood Tadka’ To Swayat Shasan Dibas In Berhampur

Berhampur: Swayat Shasan Dibas (Local Self Governance Day) was celebrated with much fanfare in Odisha’s Berhampur on Friday.

Bollywood actress Zareen Khan graced the 151st Swayat Shasan Dibas celebration, which was organised by the Berhampur Municipal Corporation. Finance Minister Sashi Bhushan Behera was the chief guest.

With an objective of making the city open defecation free (ODF) by December 2018, Berhampur municipal corporation started a cleanliness drive on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, the actress urged people to keep the city clean and help the municipal corporation achieve the said target.

Earlier, she has uploaded a video on Twitter, in which she has appealed to people of Berhampur to keep their city clean and use toilet. She also asked the citizens to extend their cooperation to the civic body for the cleanliness drive.

She also urged people to use toilets and refrain from defecating in the open, which is one of the key causes of spread of various diseases.

MLAs, local MPs and former Minister Chandrasekhar Sahoo also attended the event.
