Mumbai: Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut’s controversial affair with senior actor Aditya Pancholi may have fizzled out, but it did leave a negative impact on their lives.
When the duo parted ways, they washed dirty linen in public. While Kangana alleged that Aditya abused her physically and emotionally during their relationship, Aditya claimed that the actress owed him money.
Now, in an interview with Lehren Retro, Aditya’s wife Zarina Wahab shared some more details about her husband’s controversial affair.
Zarina said that Kangana often visited their house and both — she and Aditya — were nice to the actress.
Zarina remarked that she could see Kangana’s intentions quite clearly, but Aditya could not.
“I was always nice to Kangana. She often visited my home. He was very nice to her. I don’t know what went wrong. I just can tell that I saw what he couldn’t and eventually that happened. I just thought that time would tell, and didn’t want to say anything,” said Zarina.
Zarina further said that she was aware of her husband’s affairs, but they didn’t bother her much as long as he treated her well when he returned home from work.
“I was always aware of Nirmal (Aditya’s real name)’s affairs, but I never questioned him. I only cared about how he treated me when he was home. I ignored asking him questions because it would have made him fearless. I was completely prepared for him to have affairs,” she said.
Zarina was last seen in Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Devara: Part 1.’
She will next be seen in Prabhas’ highly-anticipated movie ‘The Raja Saab.
