Zero Results In Plus II Science Exam: Notice Sent To 15 Odisha HS Schools

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday issued a show-cause notice to 15 higher secondary schools for having nil results in the annual Plus II Science examination this year.

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has asked the principals of these schools to reply to the notice within a week.

The principals concerned have to explain as to why admission in their schools should not be stopped this year and why science should not be withdrawn from their institutions.

Announcing the Plus II Science results on Wednesday, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash had said that a show-cause notice will be served on these 15 schools for nil results.

Last year, nine higher secondary schools had reported nil results in the Plus II Science examination. This year, the number has jumped to 15 schools.
