Jajpur: Excise Department officials seized 1.5 quintal ganja and arrested five persons at Korei area in Jajpur district on Monday.
Based on reliable information, the Excise Department conducted a raid and seized the contraband and a four-wheeler.
According to sources, all the accused belong to Kandhamal and Jajpur district.
A case has been registered against them under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985. They will be forwarded to the court, said the police.
