Kalahandi: A person was killed and 30 others sustained grievous injures when the bus in which they were travelling fell off a bridge near Thuamul Rampur’s Balighat in Kalahandi district on Wednesday.
The accident took place when the driver of the ill-fated bus lost control over the vehicle while crossing the bridge. The bus was heading towards Gopinathpur from Bhawanipatna.
The injured were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Later, the critical injured were shifted to district headquarters hospital, reports said.
