Cuttack: The city reported 10 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 239 on Saturday.
Of the new cases, four were in institutional quarantine, five in home quarantine and one was a local contact case.
The four institutional quarantine cases were reported from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital and all of them are corona warriors. They include two males (32 and 22 years) and two females (30 and 26 years).
The five home quarantine cases include a 40-year-old male of Behera Colony in Manglabag area (contact of an earlier positive case), a 50-year-old female from Manik Ghosh Bazar (family member of an earlier positive case), a 40-year-old male from Christian Sahi in Sutahat (recent travel history to a private hospital in another district), a 45-year-old male from Purighat area (recent travel history to a private hospital in another district) and a 26-year-old female from Dolamundai area (recent travel history to Kolkata).
The one local contact case is a 22-year-old male from Deewan Bazar area.
Out of the 239 cases in Cuttack city, 205 are active cases, 32 are recovered cases and two have succumbed to COVID-19.
