Puri: As part of the Centre’s plan to decorate heritage sites across the country after achieving COVID vaccination of 100 crore people, the authorities have geared up for celebration at Konark temple in the district.
On Thursday, total vaccination of the citizens in the country crossed 97 crore. The Central government aims at vaccination of the total population and achieving 100 crore target in a few days.
In order to celebrate the occasion, the Centre has planned to decorate 100 heritage sites in the country on nationalistic themes. As part of this programme, the authorities made preparation for display of laser lights projecting the Tricolour on the Konark temple on Thursday evening.
The laser light display of the Tricolour at the temple was highly attractive and drew appreciation from the tourists and other visitors present at the temple.
