Mumbai: An oxygen tank leaked while being filled outside a hospital in Maharashtra’s Nashik on Tuesday. This led to oxygen supply being halted for around 30 minutes, NDTV reported.
The incident occurred at the city’s Zakir Hussain Hospital. Around 31 patients out of 80 who need oxygen have been shifted to other hospitals, the report added.
The gas had spread throughout the area causing widespread panic. Fire trucks were rushed to the spot to stop the leak. An operation is underway to control the leak, reported NDTV.
