Bhubaneswar: Centurion University of Technology and Management, celebrated its 11th convocation at the state capital campus marking the graduation of 2751 students. The Governor of Odisha, Raghubar Das was also present.
Among the chief guests were Justice CT Ravikumar, Judge of the Supreme Court of India; Dr BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder Chairman of CYIENT and Founder Chairman of NASSCOM; and Pushp Kumar Joshi, Chairman cum Managing Director of HPCL, Government of India.
Congratulating the graduating students, the Governor commended Centurion University for shaping young minds.
While wishing the class of 2023, Dr BVR Mohan Reddy, urged the graduates to seize opportunities in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Dr Supriya Pattanayak, Vice Chancellor of Centurion University, shared that this year, 203 companies offered 2358 jobs to the students. She urged the graduates to contribute to underprivileged communities.
Sunkari Krishnaveni was awarded the prestigious Visitor’s Gold Medal for her remarkable performance in Bachelor of Technology, Computer Science & Engineering. Satarupa Panda received the distinguished Dhiren Patnaik Gold Medal for Best Female Graduate in Master of Science, Cyber Security & Digital Forensics, recognising her outstanding accomplishments in the field. In addition to individual honours, 17 exceptional students were awarded the University Gold Medal.
