Daspalla: Vehicular traffic on Khurda-Balangir National Highway-57 was disrupted on Monday due to a 12-bandh of Daspalla in Odisha’s Nayagarh district by the joint action committee in protest against the decision of the district administration to shift the sub-jail to Nayagarh.
All government and non-government offices, educational institutions and trading establishments remained close in support of the bandh.

To ward off any untoward incident, four platoons of armed police have been deployed in Daspalla town.
