Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 death toll in Odisha rose to 1,730 on Saturday with 12 more patients succumbing to the disease overnight.
Of the new deaths, 4 were reported from Sundergarh district, 3 from Bhubaneswar (Khurda), 2 from Angul and 1 each from Balasore, Dhenkanal and Jajpur districts.
The Health and Family Welfare Department identified the deceased as:
- A 67-year-old male of Angul district who was also suffering from CCF and Diabetes Mellitus.
- A 56-year-old male of Angul district.
- A 65-year-old male of Balasore who was also suffering from CAD Post PTCA and BPH.
- A 68-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension and BHP
- A 67-year-old male of Bhubaneswar.
- A 60-year-old male of Bhubaneswar.
- A 57-year-old male of Dhenkanal district who was also suffering from CKD and Epilepsy.
- A 72-year-old male of Jajpur district.
- A 76-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, CAD and old age related ailments.
- A 60-year-old male of Sundargarh district.
- 75-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus and Pancytopenia.
- A 78-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension and CAD.
