Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in Cuttack city touched 1325 on Wednesday with the highest single-day spike of 143 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Among them, 122 have been detected from Malgodown containment zone while 12 are home quarantine, seven institutional quarantine and 12 local contact cases.
All cases from Malgodown are contacts of previous COVID-19 patients.
Besides, two more cases have been reported from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here.
