14-ft Long King Cobra Rescued From Cowshed In Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: A 14-foot-long King Cobra was rescued from a cowshed of one Kamal Pradhan at Sapanga village under Patrapur block in Ganjam district.

Villagers said they heard the hissing of a snake and on a search in and around the house they spotted a cobra in the cowshed.

Immediately they informed thee local unit of Snake Helpline.

On being informed, the Snake Helpline members reached the spot and rescued the King Cobra.

The snake was released to the nearby jungle, said the sources.
