Cuttack: Amid the rising number of COVID-19 cases, the Millennium City is under complete shutdown till July 8. Of the total 190 positives cases, 144 have been reported in the last three days.
Speaking to media on Sunday, Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani said that contract tracing of the positive cases will be carried out during this period. “This shutdown will help in identifying those infected. We may extend the shutdown further if cases continue to rise in the city,” he said.

On last night’s incident at Acharya Harihara Post Graduate Institute of Cancer, the collector said that the issue has been resolved.
