147 New COVID-19 Positive Cases In Odisha’s Cuttack City

Cuttack: As many as 147 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from the areas under Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Sunday.

Of the new cases, 43 were from institutional quarantine centres, 38 from home quarantine and 66 from local contacts, according to CMC.

Of the cases from home quarantine, 5 each were from Chauliaganj and Naya Bazar, 4 each from Gopalpur and Nuapada and 3 from Tulasipur.

Similarly, of the local contacts cases, 9 patients were detected from CDA, 7 from Naya Bazar, 6 from Chauliaganj, 5 from Tulasipur, 4 from Bidanasi and 3 each from Arunodaya Market and Mahanadi Vihar.

With the day’s new cases, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients in the city have gone up to 12,724. While 10,563 persons have recovered, 54 ahve succumbed to the disease. At present, there are 2107 active cases.
