Bhubaneswar: Fifteen Sports Change Leaders who completed their training, provided by Odisha Skilled Development Authority (OSDA) and Tata Strive, received their certificates here on Thursday.
These leaders, most of whom are former athletes of Odisha’s Sports Hostels, have been appointed as teachers in different ITIs of Odisha under OSDA’s #LetsplayITIs initiative and will help in holistic development of the students. They will train the students to be physically and mentally fit.
They underwent a rigorous 10-day training on the body-mind-inner self transformation techniques, which culminated at Kalinga Stadium today in the presence of OSDA, DSYS, DTET and Tata Strive officials.
OSDA Chairman Subroto Bagchi, Odisha Sports Secretary R Vineel Krishna; Tata STRIVE CEO Anita Rajan; DTET Director Reghu G; and ONTHHPC Director Rajiv Seth presented the certificates at Kalinga Stadium.
Bagchi and Vineel Krishna interacted with the Sports Change leaders and wished them the best for their future.
