Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw 1521 more COVID-19 patients getting cured of the infection in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total recovered cases in the state now stand at 289689.
According to the Health and Family Welfare department, the highest of 151 recovered patients are from Khurda, followed by 124 from Sundargarh, 114 from Cuttack, 108 from Anugul, 95 from Mayurbhanj, 90 from Jagatsinghpur, 81 from Nuapada, 72 from Kendrapada, 68 from Dhenkanal, 63 from Puri and 61 from Bargarh.
A total of 59 from Balasore have recovered from the disease, another 55 from Balangir, 49 from Nayagarh, 38 from Jajpur, 33 from Keonjhar, 33 from Sambalpur, 31 from Kalahandi, 29 from Malkangiri, 23 from Sonepur, 20 from Nabarangpur, 19 from Koraput, 18 from Ganjam, 17 from Jharsuguda, 13 from Rayagada, 11 from Kandhamal 10 from Bhadrak, 4 from Deogarh, 3 from Gajapati and the rest 29 from State Pool.
Odisha has so far reported 302793 confirmed cases and 1441 deaths due to COVID-19.
The state has a recovery rate of 95.67 per cent.
