Paralakhemundi: As many as 16 persons have tested positive for coronavirus in Paralakhemundi Municipality area.
Gajapati Collector Anupam Saha on Wednesday said all the positive cases were detected during screening in the last three days of shutdown. The affected persons have been admitted in COVID Hospital and COVID Care Centres, he added.
According to I&PR department, the district has reported 521 corona positive cases so far while 362 COVID-19 patients have recovered. One person has succumbed to the disease.
