162 New COVID-19 Cases In Cuttack City, 26 More From SCB

Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in Cuttack city touched 2678 on Wednesday with an overnight addition of 162 fresh cases.

According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 26 among the new infections have been reported from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here. Four among them are COVID-19 warriors.

The city also saw a surge in local contact cases with 18 being reported from Mathasahi and five from Bidyadharpur.

Among the home quarantine cases, 25 are from Tala Sahi, Chauliaganj, 17 from Thoria Sahi and 10 from Nua Bazaar.

The civic body also informed about 65 more patients recovering from the infection.

With 13 deaths and 1647 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 1018 active cases.
