17 COVID-19 Cases: This Area In Odisha’s Balasore District Declared Containment Zone

Balasore: The district administration has declared some densely-populated areas in Balia gram panchayat under Remuna block as a containment zone following the detection of 13 COVID-19 cases.

Areas Under Cotainment Zone

I. City Clinic Chhaka (Entrance-1)

II. Chuda Kuta Mill Chhaka ( Entrance-2)

III. Balia School Chhaka

IV. Gan Thakurani Chhak

V. School Badi Adibasi Sahi Chhak

VI. Radha House Chhak

VII. Bimal House Chhak

“All vehicular movement of public transport and personal movement will be stopped. All the inhabitants within the containment zone shall strictly remain at home. All the shopping establishment of whatsoever nature will be closed immediately. The supply of essentials and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by the Block Administration,” the notification issued on Wednesday said.

All government and private institutions withing the boundary of the containment zone will also remain closed.
