Bhubaneswar: In continuation of the crackdown on gambling,
Commissionerate Police on Wednesday conducted raid on a gambling den
in Old Bus Stand area here and arrested 17 people.
Basing on a tip-off that few people are organising gambling in the
area, a police team raided the area and nabbed these persons.

Cash to the tune of Rs 27, 800, a lottery coin board and one
calculator were seized from those arrested.
Meanwhile, police busted a gang of mobile looters by arresting three
of its members at Sahadevkhunta area in Balasore district.
As many s 37 cell phones were recovered from the looters’ possession.
