Jeypore: At least 17 jawans were injured after the Border Security
Force (BSF) vehicle in which they were travelling overturned near
Bandikhar ghat in Narayanpatna of Koraput district on Wednesday.
Those injured were admitted to the district headquarters hospital for
treatment.
According to reports, the vehicle carrying 30 security personnel was
on its way to Laxmipur in the district from Rayagada when the accident
took place. The driver of the van reportedly lost control over its
wheels while negotiating a turn.
