A Class XII student of DPS, Kalinga, Cuttack-based Subhranshu Das is now writing a thriller novel with noted American writer Pam Russ. Amazon is set to publish the book.
Son of Suryanarayan and Reena Das, Subhranshu has been writing stories and poems since his childhood.
Russ was impressed with Subhranshu’s flair for writing after reading one in a WhatsApp group. She immediately contacted Subhranshu and offered him an opportunity to write a novel with her.
The Class XII student is now writing the second part of thriller novel ‘Stealing The Blue Butterfly Diamond From West Africa’ with Russ. Amazon had also published the first part of the book.
Subhranshu had developed an interest in reading books when he was only 5. Reading books had become a passion for him since then.
As he started writing stories and poems, he posted a few on social networking sites. The 17-year-old had also posted a story in a WhatsApp group of international level poets and writers and immediately got the proposal of writing a book with Russ.
Aiming to be a professor in English Literature, Subhranshu wants to write more stories and novels in future.
