Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha capital touched 557 on Thursday with 32 new cases being detected in the city in the last 24 hours.
Eighteen among them are local contact cases, and 14 detected in quarantine, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) tweeted.

“Further contact tracing is on. Primary contacts &and nearby houses are being quarantined and sanitised and these will be under active surveillance,” the post added.
On the other hand, seven patients have recovered from the disease and are being discharged from COVID hospital, the tweet added.
With seven deaths and 302 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 247 active cases.
