Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government transferred 19 additional SPs in the aftermath of Cuttack clashes and brutal murder of a senior lawyer in Berhampur.
According to the notification issued by the Home Department, Alok Kumar Jena, serving as additional SP in Balangir, has been transferred and posted as additional SP in Berhampur. He will replace Seema Swain, who has been shifted to the office of the IGP, NCR, Talcher.

Similarly, Sourav Otta has been transferred to State Police Headquarters in Cuttack. Indurekha Paschimakabata has been posted as Additional. SP, IUCAW, Dhenkanal, and Amrit Kumar Panda as additional SP, IUCAW, Balangir. Swastik Panda will now serve with the Vigilance Organisation.
