Bhubaneswar: The Bureau of Immigration (BOI) on Sunday issued lookout circular against three top up-line members, who are also among the main accused in the Rs 1,000 crore pan-India cryptocurrency fraud involving STA (Solar Techno Alliance) Token, on the request of Odisha’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
They have been identified as Krishna Kumar, Anil Kumar and Bhoora Ram, hailing from Rajasthan.
According to an EOW release, the trio are close associates of Gurtej Singh Sidhu, country head of STA Token, and looked after the financial and technical management of the scheme. They are also top earners and find place in the top hierarchy of the STA Pyramid. It was ascertained that top up-line members are planning to flee to Dubai/Thailand, it said.
Further investigation is on, it added.
This came a week after a similar circular was issued or Hungarian national David Gez, 32, for allegedly acting as the boss of STA Token, the crypto-ponzi firm in India.
