2 Die As Bus With Wedding Revellers Collides With Bike In Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: Two persons died after a passenger bus collided with a motorcycle at Janhia Chhak of Nischintakoili in Odisha’s Cuttack district late on Friday.

The biker and the pillion rider, who belonged to Jagatsinghpur district, died in the accident, which reportedly took place due to low visibility and dense fog.

According to sources, the bus, carrying wedding revellers, was en route to Bhubaneswar from Kendrapada. The driver lost control over the wheels following the collision and ploughed into a nearby field. All the passengers of the bus were unhurt.

Police have reached the spot and investigating the circumstances leading to the accident.
