2 Injured In Bomb Explosion In Odisha’s Jatni
Jatni: Two persons including a woman were injured when a miscreant hurled bombs in the town on Sunday.
According to police sources, the miscreant hurled six bombs targeting the house of one Rabindra Kumar Pradhan at Mundiasahi. On the impact of the explosion, the asbestos roof of Pradhan’s house flew away and walls of his neighbour were damaged.
Reena Pradhan and Naresh Das who were standing beside Pradhan’s house sustained grievous injuries. They were admitted in Jatni Community Health Centre by the locals.
Police reached the spot following the incident and started investigation. Past enmity is suspected to be the reason behind the incident, they said. The unidentified accused is absconding.
