Baripada: Two Industrial Training Institute (ITI) students from Odisha have excelled in the all-India level trade test.
Both students, Umesh Kumar Mahanta and Nikamani Soren, are from the ITI in Baripada in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district. While Nikamani has topped in carpentry trade, Umesh stood third in machine tool maintenance, their principal Suresh Chandra Padhi said, according to media reports.
Umesh is the son of a farmer. Nikamani is from a tribal family in Mayurbhanj.
