2 New Omicron Symptoms Identified; Check Details
London: As Omicron spreads far and wide, studies and analysis on the new variant of coronavirus continue across the world.
Besides its exact nature and effect on vaccines, researchers have been trying to find specific symptoms of the new strain.
A scratchy throat was found to be the most common symptom among those infected with Omicron in South Africa, where the first cases were detected.
Now, a researcher in the UK has identified two new symptoms which were not previously associated with coronavirus patients. They are nausea and loss of appetite.
According to Tim Spector, Professor of Genetic Epidemiology at King’s College London, these symptoms have been found in several patients including those who have received COVID-19 vaccines, even the booster shot.
