Bhubaneswar: As many as 2003 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals in the state on Monday.
Of the day’s recoveries, 229 were from Khurda, 159 from Angul, 141 from Cuttack, 131 from Sundargarh, 113 from Jajpur, 104 from Balasore, and 101 from Mayurbhanj district, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 91 recoveries in Kalahandi, 80 in Kendrapada, 78 in Bargarh, 72 in Balangir, 69 in Puri, 53 each in Keonjhar and Koraput, 48 in Jagatsinghpur, 47 in Nuapada, 46 in Jharsuguda, 45 in Nabarangpur, 43 in Sonepur, 36 in Dhenkanal, 35 in Sambalpur, 33 in Ganjam, 31 in Kandhamal, 29 in Malkangiri, 24 in Nayagarh, 17 in Bhadrak, 16 in Rayagada, 13 in Deogarh, 11 in Boudh and 5 in Gajapati. Besides, there were 50 recoveries from State Pool.
With the day’s addition, the total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 2,66,105 against the total positive cases of 2,82,695 while the death toll mounted to 1259.
