Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in the Millennium City touched 11346 on Saturday with an overnight addition of 217 new cases.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 98 are local contacts, 75 home quarantine and 44 institutional quarantine cases.
The highest of 17 cases have been reported from Nayabazar. One among those infected is a COVID warrior.
The CMC also informed about 225 more patients getting cured of the infection in the last 24 hours. The city also saw one more COVID-19 death.
With 42 deaths and 8573 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 2731 active cases.
