Cuttack: A particular building at Kumbhara Sahi (Ward No 26) here has been declared as a ‘Micro Containment Zone’ to contain any further spread of COVID-19 in the region.
The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) tweeted that the decision was taken after the detection of 24 positive cases among nine families staying in the building. “It requires detailed measures for active contact tracing. To facilitate this, it is necessary to declare the same building as micro containment zone and restrict the public from entering into and leaving it,” the notification read.

“All the inhabitants within the micro containment zone will strictly remain at home. The supply of essentials and medical requirements will be ensured through Puja Committee, Kumbhara Sahi,” the notification added.
