25 more arrests in Cuttack group clash

Cuttack: Badambadi police here on Friday arrested 25 persons, including 13 women, in connection with the group clash at Rajabagicha in Cuttack the previous afternoon.

As many as 27 residents of Sarvodayapur and Sweeper Colonies were earlier taken into custody following the violent clash over alleged parking issue. Several people, including women, were injured as both groups threw bottles and pelted each other with stones.

Badambadi inspector-in-charge (IIC) Biranchi Narayan Pati and Purighat IIC Tapas Chandra Pradhan were also injured in the attack.
