Bhubaneswar: To facilitate the students of Odisha to pursue higher studies in Law, the state government on Wednesday decided to reserve seats in the National Law University Odisha (NLUO).
In a letter to the NLUO vice-chairman Prof Srikrishna Deva Rao, Higher Education Secretary Saswat Mishra directed him to reserve 25 per cent seats for the students of Odisha from the next academic session.
Students desirous to take admission in NLUO must have passed the Plus II from Odisha.
Spread over 50 acres of land near Naraj, on the outskirts of Cuttack, NLUO offers BA LLB (5 years), BBA LLB (5 years), LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law (one year), LLM in Public Law (one year) and M.Phil in Law (18 months) courses.
