Bhubaneswar: Several districts in Odisha reported a record surge in COVID19, totalling to 2589, in the last 24 hours.
A total of 53,015 samples were tested during this period.
According to I & PR Department, 1574 new quaratine and 1015 local contact cases have been reported from 29 districts.
Khurda saw the highest 466 cases followed by 242 from Ganjam, 222 from Cuttack and 211 from Rayagada.
These new cases have pushed the affected tally in the state to 67122. While 45314 patients have recovered, 21383 are still active.
