Bhubaneswar: Continuing its crackdown against touts and agents, Odisha police on Monday raided different hospitals and offices of Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) and arrested 26 middlemen.
As many as 18 middlemen were arrested from RTOs and eight from hospitals.
Eight brokers were apprehended from Bhubaneswar RTO office, three from Deogarh followed by two from Cuttack and one from Rourkela hospital.
Similarly, two agents each were nabbed from hospitals in Sonepur and Kendrapara and one each from Jajpur, Puri and Nayagarh districts.One agent was arrested from the district headquarter hospital and two from the RTO in Gajapati district.
