Bhubaneswar: As many as 270 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals in Odisha on Wednesday.
Highest number of recoveries of 37 were reported from Sambalpur district, followed by 28 from Angul, 23 from Bargarh, 20 from Puri, 17 from Jharsuguda, 14 from Sundargarh and 10 each from Gajapati, Jajpur, Kandhamal and Khurda, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
The recoveries from other districts are as follow:
9 each from Balasore, Koraput, Mayurbhanj and Rayagada
8 each from Balangir and Kalahandi
5 each from Cuttack, Kendrapada and Nuapada
4 each from Malkangiri and Sonepur
3 each from Bhadrak, Deogarh and Jagatsinghpur
2 from Ganjam
1 each from Boudh, Keonjhar and Nayagarh
2 from State Pool
