Bhubaneswar: As many as 2850 more patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals across Odisha on Friday.
Of the recovered patients, 563 are from Khurda district, 184 from Cuttack, 147 from Puri, 138 from Angul, 137 from Sambalpur, 133 from Kendrapada, 98 from Bargarh, 89 from Nabarangpur, 87 from Jajpur, 85 from Sundargarh, 82 from Mayurbhanj, and 80 each from Jagatsinghpur and Sonepur, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 72 recoveries in Balangir, 72 in Jharsuguda, 69 in Balasore, 66 in Dhenkanal, 63 in Kalahandi, 55 in Keonjhar, 48 in Kandhamal, 42 in Malkangiri, 41 in Boudh, 41 in Nuapada, 37 in Nayagarh, 36 in Ganjam, 31 in Bhadrak, 27 in Rayagada, 26 in Koraput, 15 in Deogarh and 3 in Gajapati. Besides, there were 203 recoveries from State Pool.
With the day’s addition, the total recovered cases in the state now stand at 2,41,385 against the lowest spike of 2138 COVID-19 positive cases in over a month and a half.
