Sambalpur/Kandhamal: At least three persons were killed and three
others injured in two separate road accidents in Sambalpur and
Kandhamal districts.
Three people died when the car in which they were travelling in
collided head-on with a truck on National Highway-53 at Tangarapali
under Dhanupali police limits in Sambalpur district late on Thursday.
Those injured were rushed to Sadar hospital and later shifted to Burla
hospital for treatment.
As per reports, the mishap took place when the victims hailing from
Hirakud were returning back after witnessing Laxmi Puja function at
Padiabahal.
In another incident, three persons were injured after a Tata Indigo car
in which they were travelling fell into a ditch due to fog near
G.Udayagiri in Kandhamal district this morning.
The victims were admitted to G. Udayagiri hospital.
