Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has relieved three senior IAS officers who are set to proceed on central deputation.
The three officers are Shalini Pandit, Samarth Verma and Swadha Dev Singh. They are relieved from the state government with effect from October 13, 2025, according to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance department.
Shalini Pandit (2001 batch), who is Commissioner-cum-Secretary, School & Mass Education Department, with additional charge of Mission Shakti, has been relieved for central deputation as Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The tenure is five years or until further orders.
Samarth Verma (2011 batch), Director, Minor Minerals, with additional charge of MD, Odisha Film Development Corporation, has been relieved to join the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme. The tenure is five years or until further orders.
Swadha Dev Singh (2014 batch), MD, Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation Ltd., with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Water Resources Department, has been relieved to join as Director of Census Operations / Director of Citizen Registration (Deputy Secretary level) in the Registrar General of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, with tenure up to December 31, 2025 (extendable).
