Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Friday informed that three trains will originate & terminate at Bhubaneswar New Station instead of Bhubaneswar Main Station from May 11-12.
The trains are Bhubaneswar-CSMT Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express, Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Visakha Express and Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express.
These trains will have 2-minute minute stoppage time at Mancheswar Railway Station and 20-minute stoppage time at Bhubaneswar Main Station. This move will benefit people of North Bhubaneswar, Athgarh and Cuttack areas, the ECoR said in a release.
It further informed about change of the terminal point for three trains from Bhubaneswar Main Station to Bhubaneswar New Station. These trains are Bhubaneswar-CSMT Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express, Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Visakha Express and Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express.
The Konark Express from Mumbai will terminate at Bhubaneswar New Station from May 11. After arriving at Bhubaneswar Main Station at its scheduled time, the train will leave at 11.55 pm, towards Bhubaneswar New. This train will reach at Mancheswar at 12.02 am and will leave at 12.04 am and thereafter will arrive at Bhubaneswar New Station at 12.20 am.
Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Konark Express will originate at 2.20 pm from Bhubaneswar New Station from May 12 instead of Bhubaneswar Main Station. This train will arrive at Mancheswar at 2.48 pm and will leave at 2.50 pm towards Bhubaneswar Main Station. After reaching Bhubaneswar Main Station at 3 pm, the train will leave towards Mumbai on its earlier scheduled time.
Similarly, Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Visakha Express from Secunderabad will terminate at Bhubaneswar New Station from May 11. After arriving at Bhubaneswar Main Station at its scheduled time, this train will leave at 4 pm, towards Bhubaneswar New Station. This train will reach at Mancheswar at 4.04 pm and will leave at 4.06 pm and thereafter will arrive at Bhubaneswar New Station at 4.25 pm.
Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Visakha Express will originate at 8 am from Bhubaneswar New Station from May 12 instead of Bhubaneswar Main Station. This train will arrive at Mancheswar at 8.08 am and will leave at 8.10 am towards Bhubaneswar Main Station. After reaching Bhubaneswar Main Station at 8.20 am, the train will leave towards Mumbai on its earlier scheduled time at 8.40 am.
Apart from this, Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express from Visakhapatnam from May 12 will terminate at Bhubaneswar New Station. After arriving at Bhubaneswar Main Station at its scheduled time, this train will leave at 12.15 am, towards Bhubaneswar New Station. The train will reach at Mancheswar at 12.20 am and will leave at 12.22 am and thereafter will arrive at Bhubaneswar New Station at 12.35 am.
Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam Inter City Express will originate at 7.15 am from Bhubaneswar New Station instead of Bhubaneswar Main Station from May 12. The train will arrive at Mancheswar at 7.18 am and will leave at 7.20 am towards Bhubaneswar Main Station. After reaching Bhubaneswar Main Station at 7.25 am, this train will leave towards Mumbai on its earlier scheduled time at 7.45 am.
