Bhubaneswar: As many as 31 police personnel from Odisha have been selected for the Presidential Medals on the occasion of Independence Day 2025.
The 31 personnel are among the 1,090 personnel from police, fire, Home Guard and Civil Defence (HG&CD), and Correctional Services. They will receive the awards on the occasion of Republic Day, 2026, official sources said.
The Ministry of Home Affairs announced the official list of recipients of medals include Gallantry Awards, the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service, and the Medal for Meritorious Service for various police services in the country.
